Auctions
Every wine auction at the major houses — open now, coming up, and already sold. Each sale links through to the house’s own listing.
There is no single place to see every wine auction happening across the major houses. Each house publishes its own calendar and nobody puts them side by side. That is the whole gap, and this is the whole feature.
A register. What is open for bidding, what is coming, what has already sold, and where to find the catalogue.
A tip sheet. No predictions, no bid ceilings, no per-lot arithmetic, no opinion on whether you should raise your paddle.
Eight, to start. Regional houses follow once the register has earned the right to be longer.
01 Every row is read from the house’s own published listing. Never a secondary source, never an aggregator.
02 Times are given as the house states them, in the sale’s local time. Collapsing a London close and a Delaware open into one timezone introduces errors rather than removing them.
03 Where a sale is announced but has no catalogue yet, it says so and links the house index. No URL is ever guessed.
04 The register carries the date it was last verified, so a stale row is visibly stale.
The register goes live with the first sweep. Registration deadlines will sit alongside each sale — every house buries them, and missing one means you cannot bid at all.
